Photos of Days 1 through 4

Ellen walking the dogs one last time before we left.

One of the the 3Snipe Hunters, Ethan and Ruth searching for a geocache.
That thing is huge... and the ship is really big too!
The ship museum next to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We were headed towards a cache that was just outside of the Hall.
Giant Hot Dog hanging in the Hall. Ellen loves hot dogs!
ZZ Top's Hot Rod! How cool!
Ethan got some guitar practice in. His instructor back home will be proud... Unfortunately, they don't allow pictures in the main areas of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, so I can only show you these 3 pictures.
After the R&R Hall, we went to our geocaching event...
As I said earlier, the place was idealic... see the ducklings?
Saying goodbye to our friends, the 3Snipe Hunters :-(
We were very happy you could join us for the first part of our journey... we miss you already!
My wife's friend, Rob's woods near his home has a cool, mysterious teepee shelter... I kept thinking of the Blair Witch movie... spooky!
Troy trying out the foaminator.
Rob's and our kids doing a foaminator chorus... Great family, great times!!!
The Niagara Falls lit up!!! Beautiful!!!
And again...
Fireworks over the Falls.
Ethan, ready to go back to the Falls. We only watched the fireworks the night before, we didn't get to explore. By the way, we are loving the KIA minivan!
The Falls up close, breathtaking.
Heading out across the Three Sisters Islands.
This place should be an Earthcache... hmmm, maybe I'll start one...
The Islands were small but very nice. No bugs, cool scenery...
The kids really close to the water... it was moving pretty fast, I was a little uncomfortable with them being so close.
I had to get a picture of Nikoli Tesla!!!...being the physics teacher and all....
At the Cave of the Winds, ready to get drenched
Yes, that's Ethan, Ruth and Ellen up there... I especially like the "No Smoking" sign... uh... I think people should be allowed to smoke up there if they can keep it the cigarette lit... that would be a near impossible feat with all of the spray... (no, I'm not condoning smoking, I just don't think you could even if you wanted to...)
After the God inspired majesty of the Falls, we went to Fort Niagara.
There was the remains of a drawbridge... notice the counter weights.
One of the canons at the top of a Redoubt... below this level was a sleeping quarters.
Looking out of the Redoubt to the North Redoubt.
Small canons, but cool.
The French barracks... the bed was essentially one big trough... nice and cozy.
The guide called these Napoelon Canons... He said that there was only 40 left in existence... we counted 22 here! So, there is only 18 (or so) in other places around the world!
That was the end of the day... Here we are at the mouth of Lake Ontario that heads to Erie.
A beautiful end to a wonderful day... We ended up doing one more geocache after leaving Fort Niagara so we could drop off one of our Travel Bugs... (I didn't put on any bug repellent so I got bitten about 10 different places... ;-)
Tomorrow we will be doing a lot of driving. We plan on stoping at Fort Stanwix and doing a few caches along the way... and finally staying in Albany, NY.
